Back To The UK

Two weeks off, then on to rehearsals for Rick’s new album, The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. This album started life as a dedication to Isambard Kingdom Brunel, but scrapped it in favour of horses, shields and lances. By coincidence, I had just been auditioning for the new ITV series “Arthur of the Britons” featuring Oliver Tobias in the lead role. Needless to say, I had to give it a miss in favour Rick’s projects, which now included the sound track to Ken Russells new movie based on the life of Franz Liszt. It was a shambolic affair featuring Roger Daltry, Keith Moon, Ringo Starr and a cameo role for Rick.
Rehearsals for Arthur went well enough, not so good on Ken Russell’s project though, with artistic differences between Daltry and Russell over dialogue. It has to said that Roger Daltry, although something of a firebrand, is no prima donna, but I think he got lost on this one.

  1. Amazing! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a completely different subject but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Great choice of colors!
